I introduced a version “butt” into CodeIgniter
Today CodeIgniter 1.5.3 was released. It features a few more bug fixes, and one of my more public typos…

Sigh… I guess it could have been worse… (admire my shame)

I thought that one was pretty funny as well. It seemed like one of those Word Jumble puzzles.
Yeah, and the funniest thing for me is that I noticed it after it was live, and thought to myself “I bet nobody will even notice that. Who reads changelogs anyhow?”
Then within minutes I had 2 emails and a forum post. Boy, when I make mistakes, I make them bery public…
I mean very public! That wasn’t a mistake I sweare!
First off - i want to say *thank you* for all the great work being put into CI. The framework has made web-development quite fun :)
Can I put in a request for future changelogs? Is there any chance links to threads on bugs fixed could run alongside the changelog entry? it would be nice to know specifically what was fixed, since for minor updates i’d like to know if the changes are worth integrating.
Thanks!
# Fixed a version but in the Postgre driver
...
# Fixed doc typos.
Well… not all the doc typos :P
LOL, yeah Seppo - I’m a goof!
Matt: I try to respond in thread when I fix something up. I’ll take a look at a way that I can have forum or external references linked up in the changelogs. Any specific questions?
Well it seems that the user guide download page is not up-to-date…
There’s not the line for the new version but you can download it by clicking on the v1.5.2 link.

LOL I saw it earlier and was wondering about it, but shrugged it off. What exactly is supposed to be there?
I take it you have to wait till the next update before it’s officially changed huh?
