This is just one of those quickie posts about news regarding a few pieces of tech that are important to me.

jQuery released 1.2.2. This actually happened 2 days ago, but somehow managed to slide past me. The library that has solidly taken over the "number 1" spot in my mind is even better.
Sun buys MySQL - this will either go very good... or very bad.
Highslide Javascript library - a very nice looking tool.

Actually, it’s jQuery version 1.2.2, not 1.1.2, though that’s not a big deal. Point is: jQuery is better than ever. :)

Highslide looks SO awesome.
I liked it in the first split second I saw it…then I noticed your can drag around those popups in real-time:
now I’m in love :D

jQuery looks nice; even though I’m addicted to my prototype/scriptaculous-combo…
